A 10-year-old Edmond boy, Jonathan Mauldin, joined the Oklahoma City Comets for a day through Make-A-Wish Oklahoma. Mauldin, who underwent a liver transplant in 2018, participated in warm-ups and batting practice with the team.
Heroes Night
The Oklahoma City Comets hosted Heroes Night at Chickasaw Ballpark, recognizing local heroes from the area, including Mauldin. A few minutes before the event, Mauldin officially signed a contract with the Comets for the day, with the help of the team and Make-A-Wish Oklahoma.
