Amber Gregg’s children, Princeton and Pilar, have co-authored a bilingual coloring book of affirmations, I Am Loved – Soy Amado, with their mother. The book is designed to promote positive and uplifting words and phrases for families to read together.

A Family Affair

Gregg, who wanted to create a story that shows the cultural richness of her family’s dynamic, being African American and Hispanic, noticed her children’s love for reading and coloring. She decided to create this coloring book to inspire other families and promote childhood literacy.

The book’s pages were created with real-life examples of what Gregg’s family has experienced with each other, making it a unique look into a child’s world. Reading affirmations, according to Gregg, instills confidence, courage, and self-love in children.
