Law enforcement officers in Alabama had an unexpected task when a 1,500-pound bull got loose near a school. Deputies with the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office and officers with the Carrollton Police Department were called to help wrangle the bull near Pickens Academy.
Video of the unusual call shows the massive, long-horned bull roaming through a residential area as people on horseback attempt to corral it with ropes. The bull proved less than cooperative, leading officers and others on a pursuit that crossed Highway 17 and then headed back across the road.
There were a few slips and falls along the way, authorities said, but the bull was eventually rounded up safely, and no injuries were reported. The sheriff’s office had some fun recounting the pursuit on social media, describing it as a brief game of “I ain’t complying with anything you ask.”
