De Pere Christian Outreach has launched the city’s first community fridge, providing round-the-clock access to food for those in need. Located at 1827 Chicago Street, the fridge is supported by volunteers from the food pantry and accepts donations at any time.
Community Support
The Community Fridge and Shared Shelf will offer items like sealed snacks, pasteurized milk, cooked eggs, yogurt, cheese, deli meat, bread/baked goods, frozen meals, and prepared meals. The shelf will include dry goods like noodles and cereal, non-perishable canned items, personal hygiene items, and plastic utensils.
