The Dallas Wings are headed back to Toronto after defeating the New York Liberty, the 2026 WNBA Commissioner’s Cup champions. Jessica Shepard had her third triple-double of the season, helping the Wings improve to 14-8, their best start since relocating from Tulsa.

Wings Look to Build Momentum

The Wings have already surpassed their total road wins from the 2025 season and are currently fourth in the Western Conference, just a game behind the Golden State Valkyries. They will face the Toronto Tempo on Thursday, a team they defeated last week behind Paige Bueckers’ 22 points.

Bueckers and Shepard are both starters in the upcoming WNBA All-Star Game on July 25 at the United Center in Chicago. The Wings’ next home game is on Sunday, July 12, against the Chicago team, which has a 7-14 record.
