Container Ship Hit by Missile

A Panama-flagged container ship, Vela Nova, is believed to have been hit by a missile while sailing through the Gulf of Oman, approximately 71 nautical miles off Pakistan’s coast.

According to maritime security sources, the incident occurred on Tuesday, with the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) receiving a report of the incident involving a container ship and military forces.
