Adelaide Lee Elementary School on Southwest 29th Street near South Walker Avenue in Oklahoma City has opened for its first school year with a new dual-language program for Oklahoma City Public Schools. The program will initially serve pre-kindergarten and kindergarten children, with plans to expand through fourth grade.

Dual-Language Program Details

The goal of the dual-language program is to help students become fully bilingual learners by the time they leave the program. The principal of Adelaide Lee Elementary School stated that the south side of Oklahoma City is growing, and the program is needed to connect with students and their families.
