Blue Valley North graduate Drew Krystyn was surrounded by family, friends, and teachers as he earned the prestigious Kenneth Smith Award for outstanding golf performance.

The Kenneth Smith Award, sponsored by the Kenneth L. and Eva S. Smith Foundation, is presented annually to male and female students who excel in golf, academics, leadership, and community service.
Krystyn, who will continue his golf career at Saint Mary’s College of California, thanked his family, coaches, and the foundation for their support.
The Kenneth L. and Eva S. Smith Foundation is the legacy of Kenneth Smith Golf, a famous bespoke-club manufacturer that operated in the Kansas City area.
