Pennsylvania Run Golf Course, a family-owned golf course in Bullitt County, is closing after more than 50 years of operation. The course’s owner, Vickie Emberson, announced the closure on Facebook, expressing gratitude to the community for their support over the years.
The golf course, located at 12900 Christman Drive, was opened by Emberson’s parents, Mathew and Louise Emberson, in 1970. Vickie Emberson and her siblings, Susie and Matt, have continued to run the business, dedicating themselves to providing a welcoming environment for golfers of all levels.
An in-person auction will be held on August 15, with previews taking place on August 7 and August 14. The Emberson family is thankful for the opportunity to have served the community and is now preparing to say goodbye to the golf course.
