A devastating fire in the Bronx has left a family without a home. Ellese Falcon, her husband, and their 15-year-old son have been living in their car and a hotel since the explosion and five-alarm blaze tore through their apartment building at 374 East 209th Street in the Norwood section of the Bronx.
Struggling to Find a New Home
The family is facing a difficult time as they try to find a new place to live. Falcon says that the hotel stay ends next Wednesday, and she doesn’t know where they will go next. Complicating their situation is the fact that Falcon has 12 dogs, including four service dogs that she needs for her medical condition.
The fire, which occurred over a week ago, resulted in the loss of three lives and left 45 people without a home. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
