Battleground Churches Unite for Worship

A joyful noise unto the Lord was heard Saturday, June 13 at Battleground’s Saving Grace Church of the Nazarene, where 60 people, representing four churches and three denominations, came together as one body of Christ to worship and praise God.

Unity in Worship

The band included two drummers, a bassist, a guitarist, a pianist, and four vocalists, along with approximately 60 voices raising up music, arms, eyes, and hearts to God in exuberant praise, thanksgiving, and worship. Pastor Will Swaney of Saving Grace Church said, ‘We may conduct services differently, have different traditions and cultures in our churches, but we all believe the rock, the foundation, the focal point is always Jesus, his servant life, and his sacrificial death on the cross.’ Active participating church communities included Saving Grace Church of the Nazarene, Amboy Church of the Nazarene, Lewis River Fellowship, and The Remnant.
