Central Oregon Celebrates 250 Years of America

From Warm Springs to La Pine, from Burns to the peaks of the Cascade Mountains, communities across Central Oregon are invited to come together this Independence Day to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

Local Celebrations

Whether you’re gathering along a parade route, enjoying a hometown festival, honoring veterans, or watching fireworks light up the summer sky, America 250 offers an opportunity to reflect on our nation’s history and the shared values that continue to unite us.

In Bend, the First Friday Block Party will take place on July 3rd, followed by the July 4th Pet Parade and the Pilot Butte 4th of July Fireworks Show. Other cities in the region, including Burns, La Pine, Madras, Prineville, Redmond, Sisters, Sunriver, and Warm Springs, will also host their own Independence Day celebrations.

For those planning to enjoy the holiday from home or at a neighborhood gathering, The KTVZ 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular will air live on FOX and KTVZ+.
