A nearly week-long search for a missing Ashland, Kentucky woman ended with the discovery of her body in Grayson Lake. Marly Kinney, 19, was reported missing after 22-year-old Cameron Conley told Grayson Lake Marina staff that he was unable to find one of his passengers.
Search Efforts
Kentucky Fish and Wildlife, along with Kentucky State Police and local emergency, fire, and police departments, aided in the five-day search for Kinney. The search concluded on Sunday when officials identified a body found in the lake as Kinney.
Conley, who operated the boat Kinney was on when she went missing, was arrested and charged with operating a boat while under the influence. The cause of Kinney’s death has not been released, and the State Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause.
