Caden Jones, a 3-star quarterback from Southern California, announced his commitment to the Arizona Wildcats. Jones, the younger brother of current UA redshirt freshman linebacker Carter Jones, picked the Wildcats over Baylor and Washington.

Jones has played varsity all three seasons at Crean Lutheran High School in Irvine, Calif., with last year being his best. As a junior, Jones tallied 3,044 yards on 244-for-326 passing, 30 touchdown and a pick. He added 261 yards on 31 carries and a score on the ground.
Jones has 40 reported offers and chose Arizona over Arizona State, Auburn, Baylor, California, Colorado, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Michigan, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, TCU, UCLA, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin.
He is a high 3-star in the eyes of 247Sports. Internally, they have him as the No. 36 QB and the No. 43 player in California. In the Composite, Jones checks in as the No. 613 player nationally, the No. 36 QB and the 47th-best player in California.
Jones joins Crean three Crean teammates in Arizona’s 2027 class: receivers Ty Johnson and Braylen Ross and cornerback Evan Mack. Overall he’s the 16th pledge in the class, eighth on offense and fifth from California.
