A 17-year-old boy from Appanoose County, Drakona Clark, is in jail facing six charges, including three counts of attempted murder, after a shooting at a home in Moulton. The incident resulted in three relatives being shot, and Clark was also injured.
Family Reaction
Clark’s mother, April Caudill, expressed her disbelief at the allegations, stating that her son was a caring and loving individual. She had given custody of Clark to his grandparents over a decade ago and had last spoken with him a few weeks before the shooting.
Caudill described the injuries her son suffered during the incident, including major head wounds, lacerations, and contusions. However, a report from the Appanoose County Sheriff’s Office stated that no one’s injuries were considered life-threatening.
Other family members, including Clark’s aunt, Delainie Young, also expressed their shock and disbelief at the charges, stating that they would have never thought Clark capable of such actions.
