AncestryDNA has announced a flash sale with discounts of up to 75% on its DNA-testing kits. The basic AncestryDNA kit is available for $39, a discount from its original $99 price. Upgraded kits bundled with memberships, offering access to historical records, are also on sale.
How the Sale Works
The sale runs from Thursday, July 23 through Monday, July 27. During this time, customers can purchase the AncestryDNA testing kit for $39. Upgraded kits with memberships are available for as little as $40, giving customers access to additional historical records and family-history tools.
The AncestryDNA kit allows customers to run their DNA and provides insights about their family’s origins. Customers can also connect with DNA matches. The kit includes everything needed to collect a saliva sample, which is then mailed back to AncestryDNA’s lab for analysis. Results are typically available in six to eight weeks.
Membership Options
AncestryDNA also offers paid memberships with select kits. These memberships give customers access to billions of records in the U.S., including military records and news articles. The World Explorer Membership is available for $40, while the All Access Membership is available for $49.
