The Alaska House Finance Committee has voted 11-0 to move the Alaska LNG gasline bill (HB 381 version T, and as amended) out of committee. Representative Jamie Allard stated that the bill is “good for every single child, man and woman across the state of Alaska.”
Reaction to the Vote
Governor Dunleavy commented on the vote, saying that the legislation provides the certainty and stability needed to move the Alaska LNG Project forward, strengthen the economy, create thousands of good-paying jobs, and deliver long-term benefits for Alaskans.
