Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, a two-time NBA champion, will exercise his $21.6 million player option to remain with the Memphis Grizzlies, according to ESPN.

Caldwell-Pope, 33, has played for six clubs over his 13 NBA seasons. He was drafted eighth overall by Detroit in 2013 and has also played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards, and Denver Nuggets.

Despite missing 31 games last season due to a right pinky finger injury, Caldwell-Pope is a career 36.5% shooter from 3-point range. However, his percentage has dropped in recent seasons, from 40.6% in his second season with the Nuggets to 34.2% in 2024-25 and 31.6% last season.
