The League of Women Voters of Clark County has scheduled three candidate forums ahead of the August 4th primary election. The forums will feature candidates for State House, Clark County Council, Clark County Auditor, Clark County Clerk, and the Public Utility Commission.

Thursday, July 2nd, 5-7:30pm, Vancouver Community Library, Columbia Room, 901 C Street: Clark County Councilor District 1 and Clark County Councilor District 2. Friday, July 3, 5-6:30pm, Vancouver Community Library, Columbia Room, 901 C Street: Legislative District 17 State Representative Position 1 and Legislative District 49 State Representative Position 1. Sunday, July 12, 2-3:30pm, Vancouver Community Library, Columbia Room, 901 C Street: Clark County Auditor and Clark County Clerk.
The public is invited to attend the forums in person or to watch them on government access channel CVTV or CVTV.org. The Nonpartisan League of Women Voters was founded by leaders of the women’s suffrage movement in 1920. For 106 years, the League has worked to empower voters and defend democracy.
