On May 25, shortly before 1:30 a.m., officers responded to reports of a vehicle stopped in the roadway on the 6900 block of North Central Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered Jamel Williams deceased inside the vehicle, with early investigations suggesting a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Williams was alone in the vehicle.
Later that morning, around 6:30 a.m., police were called to a residence on the 200 block of East Patterson Street, where they found Tyneisha Burroughs unresponsive.
