Oklahoma State Baseball Heads to Tuscaloosa Regional for 13th Consecutive Year

The Oklahoma State University Cowboys baseball team has once again secured a spot in the NCAA regionals, marking their 13th consecutive appearance. This year, they will compete in the Tuscaloosa Regional, hosted by the University of Alabama, a testament to their consistent performance and dedication.

Ranked as a two-seed, the Cowboys (37-20) will face off against USC Upstate in their opening game on Friday at 1 p.m. The regional also includes the host team, Alabama, a No. 7 national seed, and Alabama State. The winner of this regional will advance to the super regional stage, where they will meet the victor of the Tallahassee Regional in a best-of-three series.

Oklahoma State’s season has been highlighted by a powerful offense, which ranks second nationally with 137 home runs. This offensive strength will be crucial as they aim to progress through the regional stages and ultimately reach the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.

  • Friday, May 29: Game 1 – USC Upstate vs. Oklahoma State, 1 p.m.; Game 2 – Alabama State vs. Alabama, 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 30: Game 3 – Loser G1 vs. Loser G2; Game 4 – Winner G1 vs. Winner G2
  • Sunday, May 31: Game 5 – Winner G3 vs. Loser G4; Game 6 – Winner G4 vs. Winner G5
  • Monday, June 1: Game 7 – Winner G6 vs. Loser G6 (if necessary)

Fans interested in attending can purchase tickets through the University of Alabama’s website, with sales starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 28. The times for the games are subject to change for television purposes, so attendees should stay updated on any adjustments.
