It was a proud moment for Cody volleyball fans this week as local players helped lead the North team to victory in Wyoming’s all-star volleyball match. According to the Cody Enterprise, Cody girls were key contributors to the North squad’s winning effort, representing their community on a statewide stage.

All-star competitions like this one bring together the best young athletes from across Wyoming, giving standout players a chance to compete alongside and against peers from other communities. For Cody’s participants, earning a spot on the North roster is a testament to the hard work they’ve put in throughout their high school careers — and their performance in the match showed exactly why they were selected.

The win is a feel-good capstone for players who have dedicated countless hours to their sport, and it gives the Cody community plenty to cheer about heading into the summer. All-star events also serve as a celebration of the athletic talent developing right here in Park County, and this year’s North team victory is one the players and their families will remember for a long time.

Congratulations to the Cody girls who represented their hometown with skill and pride on the all-star court. The entire community is rooting for you as you head into your next chapters — whether that means continuing to play at the collegiate level or carrying the love of the game forward in other ways.
