Two Florida men, Jay El Wilburn and Alvaughn Parker, have been indicted for their roles in an armed home invasion in Tampa. According to the indictment, Wilburn posed as a utility worker to gain entry into the apartment, where he brandished a firearm and zip-tied the hands of a man and a 13-year-old boy behind their backs.

Parker then entered the home, wearing a face mask and large sunglasses, and the pair stole approximately $15,000 in cash, controlled substances, three firearms, about two ounces of marijuana, and jewelry. The suspects were linked to the robbery using surveillance footage and other investigative methods.
Wilburn has prior felony convictions, including carjacking and the use of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, which prohibits him from possessing firearms. He has also previously served a federal prison sentence for using a firearm during a crime of violence.
