A skydiver crashed while descending into a stadium on the opening night of the sold-out Folsom Pro Rodeo in California. An American flag attached to the performer appears to have snagged on a tree, causing him to crash right next to attendees and onto a tent.

The Folsom Pro Rodeo has featured a performer landing by parachute bearing a weighted flag for years. The incident occurred as hundreds of people were watching the opening ceremony of the rodeo.

The condition of the skydiver is not yet known, and it is unclear if anyone else was injured in the crash. The Folsom Pro Rodeo is a multi-day Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association event held in Folsom, California, and it honors the region’s western heritage with traditional bull riding, barrel racing, and other events.
