Two men were hurt in a crash that left the front half of a pickup truck unrecognizable on Friday in Lauderdale Lakes.
Broward Sheriff’s Fire Rescue said deputies responded to the serious collision between two cars at around 5 a.m. at the intersection of State Road 7 (U.S. 441) and Northwest 26th Street.
Crews found one of the involved vehicles fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters quickly put out the flames while rescue personnel treated the drivers.
The drivers are men who suffered traumatic injuries and were rushed to Broward Health Medical Center.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
