A group of online streamers, known as ‘Pred Poachers’, spent the weekend in the Treasure Valley area, setting up individuals they believed to be threats to children in local communities. The group creates content similar to the television show, To Catch a Predator, where they engage with individuals they believe are seeking to meet up with underage boys or girls, and then arrange for a meeting place to question them.
Local Law Enforcement Involvement
The Boise County Sheriff’s Office was aware of the ‘Pred Poachers’ presence in the area and updated the public on an arrest made because of their efforts. On June 13th, 2026, at approximately 1:03 am, the Boise County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible child enticement from the ‘Pred Poachers’ group. An investigation was started, and at approximately 2:30 pm, Dakota Green, age 34, of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested for felony Enticing Children Through the Internet, Video Image or Other Communication Device.
Local law enforcement and those publishing these updates want to remind everyone that every person arrested is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The investigation is ongoing, with the potential for more charges.
