Xavier leaders aim to welcome the College of Osteopathic Medicine’s inaugural class in the fall of 2027 and send off its first graduates in 2031. The 130,000-square-foot home of the new medical school is expected to be completed by this fall, featuring a simulation hospital and a teaching kitchen.
“Today we celebrate a transformative milestone extending far beyond Xavier’s campus,” said Xavier University President Colleen Hanycz. “Our new medical college represents Xavier’s direct response to a critical national need for primary care physicians, built on a curriculum tailored to the evolving demands of modern medicine.
