University of Wyoming football players Samuel Harris, Ethan Stuhlsatz, and Bart Edmiston Jr. have been named to Phil Steele’s Preseason All-Mountain West First Team. Harris, a sophomore running back, rushed for 558 yards last season and added 184 yards receiving. Stuhlsatz, a linebacker, finished the season with 41 tackles and one pass breakup. Edmiston, a punter, was one of the top punters in the Mountain West last season, averaging 46.1 yards per punt.
Other Wyoming Players Recognized
In addition to the three first-team selections, several other Wyoming players were recognized by Phil Steele. Defensive tackle Jayden Williams, tight end Jake Wilson, and slot receiver and returner Deion DeBlanc were named to the second team. Left tackle Rex Johnsen and safety Jones Thomas were named to the third team, while new edge rusher Jack Dunkley, wideout Eric Richardson, guard Chandler Donaway, and long snapper Nathan Curry were named to the fourth team.
