The Wylie Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of three zoning requests during public hearings held July 21. The requests include proposals for a drone delivery operation, a warehouse distribution facility, and an automotive repair business.

Drone Delivery Service

The first public hearing involved a request to amend zoning on approximately 0.49 acres at 707 Cooper Drive from Commercial Corridor to Commercial Corridor-Special Use Permit. The change would allow Wing, a drone delivery company, to operate a drone delivery service from the site.
