The Wylie boys’ soccer team made the playoffs for the third consecutive season and advanced past the bi-district round. The Lady Pirates also had a successful season, finishing as Class 6A Region II semifinalists.
The Wylie powerlifting team won its second consecutive state title, dominating the competition with 45 points. Isabella Ortega and Yanelle Munoz claimed top honors in their respective weight classes.
