The 2026 World Cup group-stage games have more than lived up to the hype. Now the action is about to get even better. The Round of 32 is up next in the tournament, a new addition following the increase from 32 teams to 48.
Qualified Teams and Schedule
The games will run from Sunday, June 28 to Friday, July 3. There will be three games per day except for a solo match on June 28. Some of the nations that have punched their tickets to the Round of 32 so far include South Africa, Brazil, Germany, and the USMNT.
The schedule for the next round as teams fill in the gaps is as follows: Sunday, June 28, 2026, 3 p.m. ET – South Africa vs. Canada — Los Angeles Stadium, Monday, June 29, 2026, 1 p.m. ET — Brazil vs. Group F runners-up — Houston Stadium, and many more matches throughout the week.
