A woman was found dead inside an Amazon delivery van in Lake County, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to a report of a suspicious incident in the area of Clark Road around 7:22 p.m. on Monday.
When deputies arrived, they found a woman unresponsive inside the vehicle. Lake County Fire Rescue and EMS responded to the scene and transported the woman to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The cause of death was not immediately known.
The incident remains under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
