Investigation and Conspiracies

Attorneys representing Warren Hudson, Jax Pitalo, and Morgan Seymour say their clients have been subjected to death threats and defamation despite cooperating with investigators. The attorneys claim that the allegations against their clients have made it harder for them to grieve the loss of their friend.

The last time Warren Hudson saw Wells was around 3 pm, according to the attorneys. The group began noticing problems with the bilge pump on one of their boats, the Triton, and started to panic and shout to their friends that it was time to leave.

Threats and Defamation

Attorneys for the three men say they have been subjected to a barrage of threats, both at home and online. Two of the men were accosted at a local restaurant, and they’ve also been refused service in town. Some of the alleged threats were deemed serious enough that three people were charged with crimes.

The attorneys stressed that their clients only have two feelings toward Nolan Wells’ family: Empathy and sympathy. They also rejected any claims that their clients were motivated to treat Wells differently because of his race.
