A woman is facing multiple felony charges after a parking lot argument in Palm Springs ended with a gunshot fired toward a family. The incident occurred off Kirk Road, where Jessica Piltz was reportedly trying to back out of a blocked parking space, according to the arrest affidavit.

Details of the Incident

A victim, who wished to remain anonymous, said her family moved out of the way, but Piltz continued yelling at them. The victim said Piltz then pulled out a semi-automatic rifle, inserted a magazine and pointed it toward the group, which included her 7-month-old baby.

The report says Piltz fired one round toward the group, but no one was hit. The victim said the incident has left her shaken. Piltz is being held on a combined bond of $100,000 and was ordered by a judge to have no contact with the victims.
