The 2025 girls state cross country meet at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids featured strong performances from top teams and individual runners. In Division 1, Neenah took the top spot with 71 points, followed by Slinger with 84 points, and Bloomer with 179 points. Lauren McCalla of Menomonie won the individual title with a time of 17:26.4.
Division 2 and 3 Results
In Division 2, Mount Horeb won the team title with 90 points, while Emmerson Droback of Deerfield/Cambridge took the individual title with a time of 18:01.4. In Division 3, Darlington won the team title with 92 points, and Maggie Behler of Kohler won the individual title with a time of 18:22.5.
Looking ahead to the 2026 season, several top runners return, including Karstin McCabe of Whitefish Bay, who finished third in Division 1, and Maddie Driscoll of Lancaster, who finished among the top 10 in Division 2. Defending champion Darlington returns 5 of their top 7 runners, as does second-place finishing Kohler.
