Wisconsin Dairy Farmers Host Calf Facility Tours

Professional Dairy Producers (PDP) will host the 2026 Calf Facility Tours, featuring three Wisconsin dairy operations. The tours will be held on August 11, 12, and 13, and are open to dairy producers, calf managers, employees, veterinarians, nutritionists, and other dairy professionals.

Tour Details

The tours will showcase different approaches to calf raising, highlighting facility design, ventilation, biosecurity, and housing systems. Topics will also include calf health and nutrition, labor management, and technologies that support efficient calf care.

Each tour will be held at a different location: Truttmann Dairy LLC in Blanchardville, Calf Source in De Pere, and McFarlandale Dairy in Watertown. Participants can register for one or more of the tours, which will be accredited for up to 2.0 Dairy AdvanCE continuing education credits.
