Four Wisconsin dairy producers are hosting evening events to spark discussions about rural issues. The Agricultural Community Engagement (ACE) Twilight Meetings will take place in Barron, Clark, Calumet, and Dane Counties on August 24, 25, 26, and 27. The events are made possible by a partnership between Professional Dairy Producers (PDP), Wisconsin Counties Association, and Wisconsin Towns Association.
Meeting Details
Each meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. with a tour of the host dairy, providing an inside look at how animals are cared for and technologies used in modern dairy production. Ice cream will be served at 7:00 p.m. with open dialogue about issues such as wind and solar energy, water quality, conservation, roadways, and transportation. Meetings will conclude at 8:30 p.m.
The 2026 host dairies are opening their doors to the community to encourage conversations and collaboration. Elected officials, legislators, community leaders, educators, and engaged citizens are invited to take part in this one-of-a-kind experience.
