Nick Court, a 58-year-old window cleaner from Newton-Flotman, Norfolk, rescued three ducklings that had fallen into a storm drain outside a customer’s house in Mulbarton, Norfolk.
The Rescue
Court was cleaning windows with his wife Hayley when he heard the mother duck quacking in distress. He investigated and found the ducklings trapped in the storm drain.
Court opened the drain and rescued the ducklings one by one, despite the mother duck’s initial annoyance. After reuniting the ducklings with their mother, Court said, ‘It is quite funny, really.’
