Wild Thing Championship Bull Riding In Gallup

The 33rd annual Wild Thing Championship Bull Riding is coming to Gallup this weekend. The event is called the No. 1 open bull riding competition in the Southwest.

Event Details

It’s held at Red Rock Park and features dozens of cowboys who are trying to ride the best bucking bulls in the business. Bulls are provided by PBR world champion Owen Washburn, as well as 4B Bucking Bulls and Flying S.

In addition to the bull riding, there will also be cowboy poker, woolly riding and a fireworks show. It’s Friday and Saturday starting at 8 p.m. Tickets at the gate are $35 for adults, $10 for kids ages 6-11. Kids 5 and under get in free. Parking at Red Rock Park is $10.
