A shooting in the Ridgecrest neighborhood near Largo has resulted in one man being pronounced dead at the scene and another being taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO).

Investigation Ongoing

Deputies responded to 132nd Avenue North after receiving a report of a shooting involving multiple men. Investigators have stated that everyone involved in the shooting is known to one another, and there is no threat to the public.

The PCSO is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Updates to this story will be made as more information becomes available.
