The Westside Village project in Fort Worth is set to enhance the local riverfront with a new beer garden and retail concept. Levee Porch, a collaboration between Chimy’s and Tailwaters Fly Fishing, will offer a unique blend of dining and outdoor retail along the West Fork of the Trinity River.
Chimy’s owner Kyle Wright and Fort Worth general manager Jason Finley are spearheading the restaurant portion, which will serve familiar favorites like burgers, hot dogs, and mojitos. Meanwhile, Tailwaters Fly Fishing, co-owned by David Leake and Neil Turner, will provide outdoor equipment in the retail section. This combined venture is expected to open in the first quarter of 2027.
Levee Porch aims to be a recreational anchor within the 37-acre Westside Village development, contributing to the activation of Fort Worth’s riverfront. The project is being managed by Austin Schenkel and Emmy Kate Barr of Duwest, with design by Line Design and architecture by RSDG. Construction is being handled by ARCO/Murray, with FW Westside RE Investors, a partnership between Keystone Group and Larkspur Capital, leading the development.
