A Sunday afternoon ride turned tragic for a Weeki Wachee woman when her Harley-Davidson trike crashed in Hernando County, Florida. The 57-year-old rider was traveling southbound on County Road 491 when she lost control of her Harley-Davidson Pro Glide Trike just south of Kensington Road.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the three-wheeled vehicle veered off the road, collided with a fence, and overturned. Emergency medical teams quickly arrived at the scene to stabilize the woman, who sustained serious injuries from the crash and subsequent rollover. She was then transported to a local hospital for further treatment.

State troopers are investigating the incident to determine whether mechanical failure or road conditions contributed to the accident. The identity of the rider has not been released.
