Webster County auditor Shaunna Abrams is stepping down less than halfway into her term. Abrams submitted her resignation to the Webster County Board of Supervisors, citing increasing demands that have made it difficult to have a healthy work-life balance.
Abrams was elected to a four-year term in 2024. Her resignation is effective July 16. The board said the process to fill the vacancy will be different from previous county office vacancies because it is an election year.
