The Wall That Heals, a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, will be escorted through central Iowa by a convoy of motorcycles and sheriff’s deputies before being displayed in Brooklyn.

The procession will begin in Altoona at 2 p.m. and travel along Highway 6 to its next stop in Brooklyn. People are encouraged to line the route to show their respect, and temporary road closures will occur as the convoy passes.
The Wall That Heals will be displayed at the BGM High School football field in Brooklyn. It will open to the public at 6 p.m. Thursday and remain accessible around the clock until 2 p.m. Sunday. A Chinook helicopter is scheduled to land west of the school building at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
