Labor Market Perceptions Remain Weak
Households’ perceptions of the labor market remained generally weak, according to a survey. “Consumers’ write-in responses on factors affecting the economy continued to be mostly pessimistic in July,” said Dana Peterson, chief economist at the Conference Board.
