Construction on Urbandale’s new splash pad at Walnut Creek Regional Park has begun. The city said crews have started connecting utilities as part of the project. To complete that work, part of the Bob Layden Trail is closed for at least two weeks.
Project Details
The $760,000 splash pad project is part of Urbandale’s Capital Improvements Plan adopted by the City Council in January. It’s funded through a 1% local option sales tax.
