The United Way of Natrona County is celebrating its 71st anniversary with a community BBQ on August 3 at Crossroads Park in Casper. The event will feature a free BBQ lunch, birthday cake, lawn games, and family-friendly activities.
A Legacy of Giving
Since its inception in 1955 as the United Fund of Casper, INC, the organization has grown to collect and distribute over $900,000 annually to support local charities and initiatives. Executive Director Annie Sorensen expressed her gratitude to the community, stating that the celebration is an opportunity to thank the volunteers, donors, partner agencies, businesses, and community members who have made their work possible.
