United Airlines to launch daily nonstop Denver‑Paris flights in May 2027

Denver International Airport (DEN) announced a new nonstop route that will connect Colorado’s gateway city directly to Paris, France. United Airlines plans to begin daily flights on the Boeing 787‑9 Dreamliner in May 2027, offering travelers a convenient, year‑round option between the Rocky Mountain West and the French capital.

Flight details and schedule

The outbound flight will depart Denver at 8:35 p.m. and land at Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) at 1:35 p.m. the following day. The return leg leaves Paris at 3:45 p.m. and arrives back in Denver at 5:50 p.m. on the same day, providing a reliable schedule for both business and leisure travelers.

Impact on Denver’s aviation market

This marks the first nonstop service between Denver and Paris, adding to the airport’s growing list of European destinations. Airport officials note that Paris is Denver’s second‑largest European market after London, reflecting strong demand from Colorado residents, tourists, and the region’s business community.

By 2027, United will operate 204 nonstop routes from Denver, including 25 international markets across 14 countries and just under 180 domestic stops. The new Paris route joins existing European flights to Frankfurt, London Heathrow, Munich and Rome, further solidifying Denver’s status as a major hub for trans‑Atlantic travel.

Economic and community benefits

Local businesses anticipate a boost in tourism revenue as easier access to France encourages more European visitors to explore Colorado’s outdoor attractions, ski resorts, and cultural events. Likewise, Colorado companies with ties to Europe will benefit from reduced travel time and increased connectivity for executives, engineers, and sales teams.

Job creation is another expected outcome. The additional flight will require more ground‑crew staff, baggage handlers, and customer‑service personnel at both Denver and Paris airports, contributing to the region’s employment growth.

What travelers should know

Passengers can expect United’s modern 787‑9 cabin, which features larger windows, improved humidity control, and a quieter ride compared with older aircraft. The airline plans to offer a range of fare classes, including economy, premium economy, and business, to accommodate different budgets and travel needs.

Travelers are encouraged to monitor United’s website and the Denver International Airport’s announcements for ticket sales, fare promotions, and any updates to the flight schedule as the launch date approaches.

Looking ahead

The addition of the Denver‑Paris nonstop route underscores the airport’s strategic focus on expanding international connectivity while supporting the local economy. As United continues to grow its network, Colorado residents can look forward to more direct options that simplify travel to key global destinations.
