The annual dinner has historically been held at the Washington Hilton. However, this year’s event will take place at the Waldorf Astoria in Washington, D.C. Many Cabinet officials will be in attendance, including FBI Director Kash Patel, Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
First lady Melania Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio will not be in attendance due to prior commitments. In a statement on Truth Social, Trump said the event’s rescheduling is ‘a very good thing’ and that ‘we cannot allow Lunatics to change our way of life, or even its scheduling.’
