President Donald Trump recently stated that he regrets endorsing Randy Feenstra in the Iowa governor’s race. Trump claimed he did not have enough information about Feenstra’s opponent, Zach Lahn, before making the endorsement.
Trump’s Endorsement
When asked if he regrets endorsing Feenstra, Trump said, ‘The man running against him is all Trump. Had I been given the information, I probably would’ve endorsed the other person or not endorsed at all, but I would have endorsed the other person. He was much more Trump than Randy.’ Lahn will face Democrat Rob Sand and Libertarian Nicholas Gluba in November.
